Vtuber Spotlight: Eisu Of Justice!

This weeks Vtuber is Eisu of Justice! What type of content does he make? What is his vtuber theme or brand image? Where is he based out of? what sort of vibe does he give off with his community and the vtuber community as a whole? What projects are he working on? Let’s check him out.

Disclaimer: all content and art shown are owned by Eisu and are owned by their respective creators. I will link wherever I can to art used that does not pertain to Eisu. With all that said lets check out who Eisu is.

Eisu the man behind the vtuber.

Within the vtuber community, there is varying degrees of privacy that each individual vtuber may wish to have. Some show their face and their location to their fans in detail while some are more general and vague. Whenever talking about the person behind the vtuber, I will never share more than they are comfortable with. So with that said, what was Eisu kind enough to share about himself with his audience at a quick glance? We see that he is proudly from Malaysia, and speaks English, Malaysian, and is working on learning Japanese. We see that he has been a vtuber since June 3rd, 2019. He also shares that he is a pro artist of over 20 years who has worked with many publishers in the past, and that he creates freelance comics. The links to his comments can be found in the description here. His dream is to create a Japanese language and published manga.

Story.

Usually I like to discuss the story that led up to their vtubing debut, and when asked I got a real honest answer from Eisu. He told me that there was no real story that led up to his vtubing career. He admired vtubers Kizuna Ai and Kaguya Luna. He was incredibly impressed with the technology, and thought “hey I wanna try that out”. Upon looking around late 2018 he found there were tons of vtubers, Japanese and English and decided to become one himself. I find this story to be actually very important to tell because it is one that I am sure many can relate and agree too. I always felt guilty myself that I did not have a big lead up to it or massive inspiration myself. Seeing that I wasn’t the only one who just watched a couple vtubers and thought “wow that is really cool I would like to try that myself” was a comforting thought in a sense. You do not need to have a big crazy story or a revelation to become a vtuber. Any and all reasons for doing so are valid, so long as you wish to be one then start!

Theming and branding.

I would say that Eisu definitely has a super hero branding and theme to his vtuber. The model itself is dressed the part easily as well as his intro phrase. his use of the word citizens makes you feel like he has super hero energy about him and that he just wants to protect again his citizens, his viewers. I love this and it bleeds into his stream format as well with the stream cell layout. They look like comic book cells straight from a a stereotypical comic, with some of that Eisu flare thrown in.

Content.

A quick peek over at his twitter and you will see that he does content on YouTube as well as on twitch. He also, of course, has those comics that he has created and is working on as well. So I would like to highlight a couple of these that I found interesting and just talk about them here.

Youtube.

one of my favorite video formats personally!!

Eisu does a lot of different types of content on his YouTube. He uploads variety content from gaming lets plays to live stream gaming, reviews of board games, art streams there and my personal favorite, a vtuber interview type content he calls hero talks. I have to say the clip above is a great example of his overall style as a vtuber and theme. He has a cell for himself, the content type, for his chat and for his guest. I absolutely love it and I think he does an amazing job getting a conversation flowing and it shows his love for the vtuber community.

When poking around his YouTube channel you see that this is a common theme with Eisu, a love for collaboration with other vtubers. It shows a passion for the community and spreading fun and joy, as well as using his platform to try and elevate other vtubers in the process. The collabs are all so wholesome and are such a blast to watch.

Twitch.

Over on his twitch you can find a lot of variety content as well. I found his hero talks that were over on his YouTube over here as well. I also found this skit type of content over there as well. It is a great example that once again shows his love for the community and his willingness to collaborate. Not only that but I love that he is willing to experiment on the content type and formula just for the sake of it. To include others and look around to see what kind of content that others may like to see and give a big chance to work with other vtubers because this was a big collab.

Comics.

All of his comics that are readily available all seem to be hosted on different sites so I can’t link them all in one link. With that said, I wanted to talk about Sandra On The Rocks. I found this to be relatable and hilarious as I used to be an assistant to someone myself. I found myself laughing along as I went through the first chapter and I started getting sucked in. You best know that I feel like checking out the rest of these comics when I can. The art was done by Eisu and is great and each cell is drawn beautifully, not clashing with the next or previous. Sandra On The Rocks was written by Dave Lumsdon and he is a great writer and what he wrote that I was able to read felt very real, as sometimes jokes in the animation industry or even “relatable” content can sometimes seem so far from reality, or even try to hard. The long story short is that I think his comics are definitely worth checking out!!

Closing.

Eisu is someone who really enjoys and loves the vtuber community. Whenever I see him interacting with anyone it is such genuine wholesomeness and I feel that any type of his content you consume will reflect that. His content will make you leave feeling happier and better about it and he really has done a lot of the vtuber community and I think that he is an incredible and talented content creator. So please if you haven’t checked him out from the links earlier please do, as I can highly recommend his content, he has a little bit for everyone.

With all that said, thank you all for reading till the end I highly appreciate it. I really appreciated every single visit and read that I get on all my articles and I hope you will stick around, for more future vtuber spotlights as well as my own variety content here on my blog. If that sounds great please give me a follow here or on twitter as well and let me know your thoughts down below. Till next time.
