Today’s vtuber spotlight is on none other than Vivi Vidette! What sort of content does she create? Why does she create content? Why did she decided to become a vtuber? Read on to find out the answers and more about Vivi’s story!!

Story.

As is tradition for my blog and my vtuber spotlights, I asked Vivi about her story. I was wondering why she may have gotten started as a vtuber. What motivations or life events may have inspired her to get involved in vtubing and how she found out about it. Many know that vtubing is not quite as widespread or easy to find as other forms of content, although it is quite a lot easier to stumble upon and is only becoming more and more widespread at the moment. I was curious about her story,and what follows is the answer to all those questions.

Vivi had a hard time realizing what her purpose was in life. She felt that she was just floating through life, not really making an impact or fulfilling what she was meant to in life. She has wanted to be part of something that was bigger than herself. She did not want to continue as she previously was in life but did not have the answer as to what she wanted to do.

Then one day, she found what she wanted to do. Through sheer luck, she found out about hololive and the world of vtubing. Having gotten a Pekora clip stuck in her head, it made her realize that this was something that qualifies as bigger than herself, something that she felt could really fill the void of what she had been feeling. with her emotions and convictions, she quickly got to work on a vtuber model that would be Vivi.

Once the model was done and she was all ready to create content she was left with great excitement. She was so excited to become a part of the community and create content, and upon doing so she felt fulfilled. She felt that this really and perfectly filled that void and gave her a sense of accomplishment and happiness. She could finally feel that she was not just floating through life anymore and thus the streamer and vtuber you see before you was created!!

I myself love her story! I often had feelings that I was floating through life, and still sort of do from time to time. I can totally understand wanting to do something that is just bigger than yourself and wanted to help bring people happiness and joy through such an endeavor. Hence why I started creating posts as well as sharing art that I could create appreciation from. I think it is a very humble, and relatable story and I think her conviction really shines through her content, as we will see later!

Her Model.

So now we know why Vivi decided to start content creation and that she created her model but why did she decide on becoming a skeleton vtuber? Upon watching her content I always felt that her model fit her superbly and it is apparent she is very happy and content with her model. It is something that is quite unique in the vtuber scene, and I just had to know the answer to the simple question, why.

Vivi told me that she wanted to find something that would help her stand out among the vtuber crowd and be more unique, which I already said that is was quite unique so she nailed that. Vivi has always found skeletons aesthetically pleasing, and they were something that she loved drawing, especially the skulls. She is also a huge fan of Monster High growing up and when she saw the skeleton doll Skelita, she was awestruck. She noticed how the body was made up of bones, but the face was left cutesy. In the end she decided to search around to see how many skeleton vtubers there were, and upon not finding many she went with that idea, so that she would have some inspiration from Monster High!

Content.

Twitch.

Vivi’s main hub for content is her twitch. She mainly streams gaming content, but she also does art content. I was lucky enough to catch her live a while back making a little emote of herself with a trash can lid for a hat and I absolutely adored it! beyond those two facets, I do not think she has any other kind of content, but her gaming range and art range is easily enough to keep those who hunger for variety satiated for a long time to come!

How would I describe her streaming style, or persona as some like to say? I would say it is genuine kindness and chaotic energy. She has streams where she plays with her friends and it can get quite chaotic in such a funny, laugh till your sides ache, kinda way. Vivi has expressed such a love for the vtuber community and her community and friends on multiple occasions. She is someone whose love for others can clearly shine through her content. I always feel such honesty when she says she is just happy that I, or any viewer of course, stops on by her streams or offers a hand to help. Those are what I think her two streaming styles are like to me, so if you think you would enjoy those types of streams do not be afraid to pop on by!

Youtube.

Vivi also has a Youtube, but at the time of writing this there is no content over there to consume. If I had to make a guess, I would think this would be for some vods she would be unable to save, but for the moment there is nothing there to discuss.

Commands, or inside jokes.

I also had to ask if there were maybe any funny inside jokes or stream commands for her streams that may be unique. Something that may help include us in what may be some of the funnier moments on her streams or some sort of viewer interaction. When asked about these she responded as follows:

One of the bigger running gags on my twitch is the theory of what my bones contain. Pissbones is huge inside joke between her and her friends! I wonder what really is contained but Ill leave the theory crafting to them. Another is the story of the valiant hero Johnny two shoes. She then left me with a tip, not to eat the pineapple!!

Now I found these so out there in the funniest way possible! It makes me want to stop by and ask her friends what they were thinking in a funny like wtf way! I also want to know what is up with the cryptic tip that she so kindly afforded me as well. Goals.

Last, but certainly not least I was wondering if she had any goals when she set out to become a streamer and vtuber. As we have seen in the past, if a goal is quite certain and a focal point of their motivation, it will really relflect in their content and streaming style. So what was Vivi’s goals when she decided to start streaming?

Vivi stated that her first goal was to join Hololive. Because of this, her early content when she was starting out was to try and become someone that hololive may want to hire. Upon streaming more and more Vivi found that she was comfortable staying indie, and was more comfortable being herself. She then pivoted goals, and her current goal is to become self sustainable from content creation. I find this to be an admirable goal, because at the end of the day money makes the world go round. Money can afford her more time to stream and be herself without needing a job to sustain herself and her husband. So I really hope and think that she can do that one day really truly. She is such a genuine, nice, thoughtful streamer and such a great entertainer.

In closing I have to say first and foremost to please go check out Vivi. I know for a fact that she would highly appreciate it and would love to see some new faces in her chat and twitter. I can’t recommend her enough from the bottom of my heart she is really worth checking out at the least and forming your own opinion on what you learned here today.
